Today’s Le Bella Donna bride Courtney tied the knot last month in an absolutely stunning Martina Liana beaded fit and flare gown.
Courtney and her husband Scott met during a Relay for Life event in college, and actually got (fake) married at a both during the event that same day! As she says, “the rest is history” and ended up with a romantic proposal during a lantern festival in them Poconos during their 5th anniversary. When we asked her how long it took in their relationship before she knew he was the one, Courtney said “he was unlike anyone I had met before and I knew pretty much as soon as we started dating that he’d be the love of my life.” She also cautions other newly-engaged brides from spreading the news on social media first, and recommends telling the people you’re closest to in person, as it’s “way more satisfying than likes on Facebook.”
As an engineer, Courtney says her husband Scott is very into numbers. The couple was looking into having their wedding on September 10th, 2017 to match their dating anniversary and the day of the proposal, but ended up going two days earlier because they preferred a Friday wedding to a Sunday one. However the universe works in funny ways, and it was only after they announced this date to their families after booking that they realized that September 8th was his grandfather’s 100th birthday!
Like many of our brides, Courtney relied heavily on Pinterest to help plan out her ideas for her perfect wedding aesthetics, and had several different idea going depending on theme, time of year, and venue. When they ended up picking a venue that combined “rustic elegance and modern flare”, Courtney knew where to start looking. About a dozen stores and countless gowns later, Jenny helped Courtney find a gorgeous fit and flare with vintage look lace, head to toe-beading, and a finished hemline. While not every bride gets teary-eyed when finding her dream gown, Courtney surely did!
Congratulations to the happy couple! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.
