Bride Holly is not afraid of color! This bright and beautiful wedding is a real show stopper.
The couple met while working at Bertuccis. After some teasing from Mike, Holly agreed to a date. “It was an evening filled with conversation and laughter, and it marked the beginning of a wonderful journey together.”
Five years later, Mike popped the question in the same park where the couple had their first date. “While conversing about life and love and the paths that led us to each other, my sister, Jamie, arrived at the park with a camera. During the confusion of Jamie’s appearance, Mike got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. After an excited ‘Yes!’ and lots of pictures, we visited our parents and then we went to a romantic dinner in New Hope to celebrate.” We love a groom who plans an engagement paparazzi!
Holly really enjoyed the wedding planning process, and her advice for future brides is to do the same. To her the planning stages are when “you and your future husband are defining who you are as a couple and setting the foundation of your life together.”
We were honored to be a part of Holly’s wedding planning. She came in looking for a ball gown and cathedral veil that would wow her groom and guests. And she got just that! Holly chose a tulle ball gown with beaded bodice by Justin Alexander, and a show-stopping beaded cathedral veil.
The excitement didn’t stop there. The couple also wowed their guests by collaborating with their officiant to write the ceremony together. “The entire process was an amazing experience for my groom and I. We were able to tell our story and paint a picture for our guests. There was not a dry eye and everyone had nothing but amazing compliments for us.”
Congratulations Holly & Mike!
