The beginning of our new year and many exciting changes mark the start of our latest addition Le Bella Donna for 2014. With Le Bella Donna’s website, creatively done by none other than the amazing Alex Korecka, we face the new challenge of introducing who we are and what we are about. We promise that good or bad, that it will always be an interesting read and worth your while.

We have a lot of upcoming topics to share but we felt a great starting point would be a big one:

All the reasons you should not get married…

Most people reading this would say, “What does that mean!?”

I have learned so much about the inner workings of the wedding industry and how magical it can be. However, I often see stressful moments during the planning process and the disposition of brides change.

Now I am not a therapist but I see A LOT of mixed emotions during appointments. Weddings are very exciting. They lead up to the most important day of your life. During the planning process it’s so easy to become swallowed into the pressures of wedding planning. I see many brides lose sight of the big picture. The reason they decided to say “I Do.”

I’m not suggesting there is a right or wrong in the planning process. It is your choice to have a small or large wedding. It’s simply magical when you fall in love and someone decides they want to officially become your soul mate forever. Embracing the engagement and building up to this special celebration is the most amazing thing in the world.

But often brides become fanatical and don’t realize that until after the last guest has gone…that everything went buy so fast. Where did it all go? Finding the perfect dress, picking the perfect venue, ordering the perfect flowers…these are all important decisions. But they are not the reasons you should get married. Knowing that at that special moment you make your vows and look into that person’s eyes is every reason you should get married.
