We loved working with Christine to help find her dream vintage style dress. After trying on many gorgeous gowns, she ultimately picked the first dress she tried on—a beautiful, lace Lillian West. “The mermaid silhouette won me over.”

Christine has a simple success tip for any wedding. “As long as the wedding reflects the couple then it will be beautiful.”

It’s clear Christine and her husband Steve both incorporated their creative signatures into their big day.

Christine, a visual artist, used her creativity to make DIY wedding decorations. “We have two pets: a ferret and a cat. Combine that with a small apartment, and it gets a little tricky.”

After her cat decided the ideal place for wedding favor labels was in the water bowl, Steve came to the rescue. “I was so upset and stressed that Steve decided to put on the Princess Bride and helped me fix the labels. It’s actually one of my favorite pre-wedding moments.”

Combating the challenges, Christine also successfully hand crafted all the flowers out of crepe paper and coffee filters. These delicate roses and peonies were arranged as centerpieces in her collection of milk glass vases. She credits Lia Griffith for the great tutorial.

Steve, a musician, incorporated his passion into the ceremony. “he surprised me by playing a song he wrote for me as a gift for our first Christmas together. His entire band, father, and sister joined in. It was amazing.”

Congratulations Christine and Steve!
