It has been a whirlwind of a year for Jackie and Jon surrounding their wedding! The couple had a short nine month engagement and wedding planning process all while switching and searching for jobs as well as buying a house!! Jackie and Jon were friends for a couple years before one night it just “clicked” and they began dating in 2009. The became engaged on December 7th, 2014 at Peddler’s Village in Bucks County, PA. “Every year we visit Peddler’s for the gingerbread house displays & lights, annual Christmas ornament shopping and dinner at Hart’s restaurant. After dinner we walked around looking at the lights and he popped the question on his one knee in the middle of the lights!”

Jackie and Jon were married at the James A. Minchener Art Museum.

When Jackie walked through the doors of Le Bella Donna she had a completely different vision for her dress. She was interested in a lace Sophia Tolli dress with straps and wanted to make sure the silhouette of the gown flattered her figure while showing off her curves. She also had her eye on dresses that would help cover her back tattoos since she was unsure if she wanted them on full display.

She tried on about 1o dresses and was able to narrow her favorites down to two. Both were complete opposites to what she was initially looking for! She says the best advice she can give for dress shopping is to “Go in with an open mind! My dress was one I saw on a rack and said why not to trying it on! I’m glad I did!”

Jackie had been dreaming about her dress and accessories for months, so when it came for Jon’s first look she was excited but a little nervous for his reaction, “when he first saw me, he stepped back and said ‘WOW! You look so beautiful!’ Of course then, the tears started!”

Congratulations Jackie and Jon!
