Victoria & Tyler

Victoria & Tyler

Today’s Le Bella Donna bride is Victoria. She married her husband Tyler this October at the Alverthorpe Manor in an elegant Allure Bridal lace sheath gown.

Victoria and Tyler met when they were freshman in high school through a mutual friend, and two years later they began dating at age 16. They were supposed to go on a double date when the other couple cancelled and decided to hang out together instead. Then they had their first kiss and have been together ever since!

Victoria and Tyler went on a trip around Europe and went ice climbing in the Swiss Alps, where Tyler fell when a glacier gave out beneath him. Victoria immediately did everything she could to save him and, along
with the help on their guide, Victoria, her sister, and Tyler were able to wait in their precarious situation to be rescued by a rescue team. After their near-death experience, Victoria and Tyler went back to the hostel where they had been staying. Tyler spontaneously proposed in front of the hostel!

When it came to shopping for her dress, Victoria was very stressed because she is a “total tomboy” and didn’t enjoy the process of finding her dress. Before she began shopping, Victoria knew that she wanted to wear something unexpected. She wanted to pick something that her husband would like and actually compliment! Her favorite part of dress shopping was when she finally found her perfect gown.

During Victoria’s first few bridal appointments, she brought many of her friends and family with her. She found that there were too many opinions and this made it more difficult to decide. To make the process easier, she began inviting only one person at a time and eventually just shopping alone. She said yes to her dress at an appointment by herself, and her mother was upset to have missed that moment, so she came back to our shop and recreated the moment for her mother!

Victoria’s favorite part of her wedding day was the ceremony. Tyler’s uncle officiated the ceremony without any direction from Tyler or Victoria so everything was a surprise to them. Victoria says that he “completely nailed it” and was able to make the ceremony personal and sentimental because he knew both of them so well.

Victoria’s advice for other brides is to always go with your gut instinct. Some of the best decisions that Victoria made were on a whim. When you are struggling with a decision, make the one that seemed right at first thought!

Congratulations Victoria and Tyler! We wish you many years of love and happiness together!
